Kirkland & Ellis promoted 62 of its lawyers to partner on Oct. 1. Two among them are from the Los Angeles office: Erin N. Brady, 31, who is in the restructuring practice and Rebecca J. Wahlquist, 38, who is a litigator.
Brady (left) focuses her practice on the representation of debtors in large Chapter 11 reorganization cases. She has experience in asset sales and acquisitions, bankruptcy-related litigation and Chapter 11 restructurings.
Wahlquist (right) has a wide-ranging complex commercial litigation practice, including contract and business tort disputes, Section 17200 and traditional class action cases, class actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, class action cases controlled by the Class Action Fairness Act, and putative class-wide arbitrations.
