Manatt nabs two real estate finance lawyers from O'Melveny & Myers

Attorneys Masood Sohali and Lauren Spiegel joined Manatt Phelps as a partner and associate, respectively.

Sohaili, a corporate and real estate finance lawyer, joins the firm's Los Angeles office. Sohaili represents financiers and developers of large real estate, public infrastructure and other projects, developers, financiers and credit enhancers of tax driven multifamily/affordable housing projects, and equity fund managers focused on growth and distressed opportunities. He was at O'Melveny & Myers for the past 18 years.

Spiegel, a project development and real estate finance lawyer, joins Manatt's Orange County office. Spiegel represents developers and capital providers in complex real estate transactions and serves as credit enhancer's counsel in the issuance and sale of debt securities to finance multifamily housing projects. She was previously at O’Melveny & Myers’ Newport Beach office.
