William E. Adams Jr., associate dean of the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, has been named the new dean and president of Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, Calif.
Adams, who starts in June, replaces Dean Maryann Jones, who is retiring. While at Nova Southeastern, in Davie, Fla., Adams helped improve the curriculum and was involved in bar passage support programs and the American Bar Association re-accreditation process. He served as acting dean of the law center for a brief period during 2007.
